On October 10, 2025, at a meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in Panel, an interview was conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of a candidate for the position of judge at the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal were determined.
According to the results of the qualification assessment, Yuliia Kovalova scored 674.7 points. The Panel decided to submit to the Commission in plenary session the question of confirming the candidate’s ability to administer justice in a general court of appeal.
It should be noted that 33 candidates applied to participate in the competition for 16 vacant positions of judges in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 15 candidates: 7 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in a general court of appeal, 5 candidates did not confirm this, and interviews with 3 candidates will be held in the plenary session of the Commission.
