
On June 15, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of two candidates to administer justice at the Lviv Court of Appeal and one candidate at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.
Andrii Yakymiv and Petro Stelmashchuk have confirmed their ability to administer justice at the Lviv Court of Appeal.
The break has been announced in the proceedings concerning Olha Bilinska regarding the confirmation of the candidate’s ability to administer justice at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.
Please be reminded that 55 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 28 vacant positions of judges at the Lviv Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 50 candidates: 39 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 9 candidates failed to confirm it, and 2 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
62 candidates have applied to participate in the competition for 47 vacant positions of judges at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 37 candidates: 24 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 6 candidates failed to confirm it, and 7 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition. The qualification assessment has been suspended for 1 candidate.
