On August 04, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine approved the overall results of the qualification exam in the specialisation of local commercial court, taken by candidates for the position of a local court judge and judges who have expressed their intention to be transferred to another local court.

The Commission also admitted 298 candidates for the position of a local commercial court judge who achieved the passing score in the qualification exam (in Ukrainian) to the special background check.
For the purpose of approving the ranking of candidates for the position of a local commercial court judge, the Commission took into account the results of the special background check conducted pursuant to the Commission’s Decision No. 37/zp-26 of April 01, 2026 in respect of 58 candidates for the position of a local commercial court judge and a local administrative court judge (in Ukrainian).
The 240 candidates for the position of a local commercial court judge (in Ukrainian), whose special background checks have not yet been taken into account, must submit, by August 31, 2026, a certificate confirming completion of preliminary, periodic and extraordinary psychiatric examinations in the prescribed primary medical record form No. 100-2/o, issued no earlier than August 04, 2026.
Reminder: the selection procedure for candidates for the position of a local court judge was announced by the Commission’s Decision No. 366/zp-24 of December 11, 2024, taking into account the forecast of 1,800 vacant positions of judges in local courts, including 200 positions in local commercial courts.
Pursuant to the Decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine No. 367/zp-24 of December 11, 2024, the Commission also announced the acceptance of applications from judges intending to be transferred to another local court to sit the qualification exam.
