Following consideration of the recommendations of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the submissions of the High Council of Justice, 5 judges were appointed to the local courts and courts of appeal on September 01, 2026 by Decrees of the President of Ukraine Nos. 846/2026–850/2026 (in Ukrainian):
3 judges whose terms of office have expired following the completion of their five-year appointments:
- Yaroslav Bondarchuk, a judge of the Yampil District Court of Sumy Oblast;
- Yevhenii Romanovskyi, a judge of the Rubizhne City Court of Luhansk Oblast;
- Serhii Traskovskyi, a judge of the Iziaslav District Court of Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
2 candidates were appointed following the results of the competition for the courts of appeal, announced by the Commission on September 14, 2023:
- Ruslana Pyvovarova to the Second Administrative Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of a judge on August 15, 2025);
- Oleh Tsiselskyi to the South-Western Commercial Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of a judge on August 15, 2025).
