On July 08, 2026, at the session of a panel of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the results of the special background check of 58 candidates for the positions of judges of the local administrative courts were established as part of the selection process announced by the Commission on December 11, 2024.
Please be reminded that, on April 01, 2026, the Commission approved the overall results of the qualification exam in the specialisation of the local administrative court, taken by candidates for the positions of judges of the local courts and judges who had expressed an intention to be transferred to other local courts. A total of 263 candidates for the position of a judge of local administrative courts who had achieved the passing score in the qualification exam were admitted to the special background check.
Based on the results of the special background check, the Commission received no information that could indicate non-compliance with the requirements for candidates for the position of a judge in local courts in respect of:

Myroslav Taranenkо and Olena Herman were found not to meet the requirements for candidates for the positions of judges of local courts and their participation in the selection process was terminated.
