On February 02, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of a candidate for the position of judge to administer justice in the general court of appeal.
Based on the results of the session, the Commission decided to recognise Tetiana Batius as having confirmed her ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal.
Please be reminded that 93 candidates applied to participate in the competition for
45 vacant positions of judges in the Kyiv Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 16 candidates: 7 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 5 candidates failed to confirm it, and interviews with 4 candidates will be held in the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
