Competition for the General Courts of Appeal: Two Candidates Have Confirmed the Ability to Administer Justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal, and One Candidate at the Dnipro Court of Appeal

On August 04, 2026, at the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of confirming the ability of five candidates for the position of a judge to administer justice in the general court of appeal was considered.

Olena Mykhailiuk and Serhii Ahafonov have confirmed the ability to administer justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal. Serhii Tuchkov and Oleksandr Hryshko have failed to confirm the ability to administer justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal.

At the Dnipro Court of Appeal, Nataliia Tokar has confirmed the ability to administer justice.

Please be reminded that 93 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 45 vacant positions of judges at the Kyiv Court of Appeal. In total, interviews were conducted with 65 candidates for the Kyiv Court of Appeal: 30 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 26 candidates failed to confirm it, and 9 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. Two candidates withdrew from the competition.

43 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant positions of judges at the Dnipro Court of Appeal. In total, interviews were conducted with 41 candidates for the Dnipro Court of Appeal: 27 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 13 candidates failed to confirm it, and 1 candidate will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. Two candidates withdrew from the competition.
