By the decision of the High Council of Justice of June 1, 2023, Volodymyr Luhanskyi was appointed as a member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine from among retired judges.
In 1991, he graduated from the Ukrainian Law Academy with a degree in Law.
Prior to his appointment as a member of the Commission, he served in a military unit in the Donetsk sector and received departmental and state awards.
Since 1991, he has worked as an investigator and prosecutor in the Luhansk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office.
In 2008-2020, he administered justice in Leninskyi District Court of Luhansk City and the Sievierodonetskyi Town Court of Luhansk Oblast. He is currently a retired judge.
Volodymyr Luhanskyi is a member of the Second Chamber and is a member of the Fifth Panel of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
