Competition for the Lviv Court of Appeal: One Candidate Is Awaiting an Interview by the Plenary Session of the Commission

On June 16, 2026, during the session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a panel conducted interviews and determined the results of the qualification assessment of three candidates for the positions of judges at the Lviv Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

Competition for the Courts of Appeal: Two Candidates Have Confirmed the Ability to Administer Justice at the Lviv Court of Appeal

On June 15, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of two candidates to administer justice at the Lviv Court of Appeal and one candidate at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.

Andrii Yakymiv and Petro Stelmashchuk have confirmed their ability to administer justice at the Lviv Court of Appeal.

The Results of the Fourth Stage of the Qualification Exam (Completion of the Practical Assignment In the Specialisation of the Specialised Circuit Administrative Court) Have Been Approved As Part of the Competition Announced by the Commission’s Decision No. 193/zp-25 of October 29, 2025

By Decision No. 72/zp-26 of June 15, 2026, the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine approved the coded results of the fourth stage of the qualification exam (completion of the practical assignment in the specialisation of the Specialised Circuit Administrative Court) within the framework of the competition announced by the Commission’s Decision
No. 193/zp-25 of October 29, 2025.

The Issue of Secondment of Judges to the Irpin City Court of Kyiv Oblast Has Been Scheduled for Consideration

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges,” by decision of the High Council of Justice, adopted on the basis of a submission by the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialisation to administer justice.
