On February 16, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, together with the Public Council of International Experts, will begin holding special joint sessions as part of the competition for the High Anti-Corruption Court, in particular its Appeals Chamber. These sessions will continue until March 17, 2026. 73 candidates are expected to participate.

Competition for the Odesa Court of Appeal: Two Candidates are Awaiting Interviews With the Plenary Session of the Commission

On February 03, 2026, at the session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of four candidates for the positions of judges at the Odesa Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

Competition for the Kyiv Court of Appeal: One Candidate Confirmed Her Ability to Administer Justice

On February 02, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of a candidate for the position of judge to administer justice in the general court of appeal.

Based on the results of the session, the Commission decided to recognise Tetiana Batius as having confirmed her ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal.
