Please be informed that from July 15 to July 24, 2025, 8,432 participants will be tested on their knowledge of history of Ukrainian statehood as the first stage of the qualification exam for selection for the position of local court judge.

The minimum passing score is 26 points.

The Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has determined the time and place for a meeting of representatives of public associations to form a new composition of the Public Integrity Council.

Judicial Selection at the Sumy Court of Appeal: Two Candidates Demonstrate Professional Capacity to Administer Justice

On July 15, 2025, at a meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of two candidates for the positions of judges at the Sumy Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the outcome of the qualification assessment, the Commission adopted the following decisions:

Commission Members Participate in International Conference in Luxembourg

On July 2, 2025, an international conference entitled “Judicial Governance in Ukraine and Europe: Current Challenges and Prospects for Reform” was held in Luxembourg City (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) with the participation of Commission members Liudmila Volkova and Vitalii Gatseliuk.

The event was organised by the Luxembourg Centre for European Law (LCEL) at the University of Luxembourg.

Commission Member Halyna Shevchuk Participated in the Plenary Meeting of the OECD Anti-Corruption Network

From July 7 to July 9, 2025, a plenary meeting of the Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) was held in Paris, France. The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine was represented by Halyna Shevchuk, Member of the HQCJ.
