Please be informed, that from August 14 to August 26, 2025, 6,754 participants are undergoing testing of general knowledge in the field of law and knowledge of the specialisation of the local general court (in Ukrainian) as the second stage of the qualification exam within the selection process for the position of local court judge.
On August 13, 2025, at the session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in Penals, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of two candidates for the positions of judges in the Sumy Court of Appeal were determined.
Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

On August 13, 2025, at a plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of confirming the ability of one candidate for the position of judge to administer justice in the commercial court of appeal and one candidate in the Sumy Court of Appeal was considered.
Based on the results of the session, the Commission adopted the following decisions:
Please be informed, that on August 11 – 13 2025, 2,237 participants were tested on their general knowledge in the field of law and knowledge of the specialisation of the local commercial court as the second stage of the qualification exam within the selection for the position of local court judge.
The coded test results for August 13, 2025 were established for 467 persons:
1) did not reach the minimum passing score – 12 persons;
On August 26, 2025, at the session of the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were held and the results of the qualification assessement of six candidates for the positions of judges of commercial courts of appeal were determined.

Please, be informed, that the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has completed testing of general knowledge in the field of law and knowledge of the specialization of local administrative courts, which was held from August 05 to August 08, 2025.
I. Composition of participants admitted to the second stage of the qualification exam i.e., testing of general knowledge in the field of law and knowledge of local administrative court specialisation.
According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialisation to administer justice by a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
On August 12, 2025, at the session in Panels of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of four candidates for the positions of judges at the Sumy Court of Appeal were determined.
