Competition to the administrative courts of appeal: three candidates have confirmed their ability to administer justice, one candidate is to be interviewed by the Commission’s plenary

On June 26, 2025, at the meeting of the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were held and the results of the qualification evaluation of four candidates for the positions of judges of administrative courts of appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:

On June 26, 2025, at the meeting of the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were held and the results of the qualification evaluation of six candidates for the positions of judges of commercial courts of appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:

On June 24, 2025, at the meeting of the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were held and the results of the qualification evaluation of five candidates for the positions of judges of commercial courts of appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:

On June 24, 2025, the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of three candidates for the positions of judges of administrative courts of appeal.

Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:

The issue of secondment of judges to the Irpin Town Court of Kyiv Oblast is scheduled for consideration

According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice by a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

Competition to the appellate courts: three candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the administrative court of appeal, and one candidate – in the commercial court of appeal

On June 23, 2025, the plenary meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of confirming the ability of three candidates for the position of a judge to administer justice in the administrative court of appeal and one candidate – in the commercial court of appeal within the framework of the competition announced by the Commission on September 14, 2023.

Based on the results of the meeting, the Commission made the following decisions:

To assist the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in determining whether a judge (or candidate for the position of judge) meets the criteria of professional ethics and integrity for the purposes of qualification evaluation, a Public Integrity Council shall be formed.
