In accordance with Part 1 of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, based on a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted upon the submission of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a judge may, with his/her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice.

On January 21–22, 2025, a visit to the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) took place with the participation of Halyna Shevchuk, a Member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine. The visit was organized by the EU Project “Pravo-Justice.”

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” based on a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted upon the submission of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a judge may, with his/her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice.

On January 21, 2025, the Panel of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine conducted interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of two local court judges for their suitability for the positions held.

Based on the results of the meeting, the Commission made the following decisions:

In February 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in partnership with the Ukrainian Bar Association will hold a series of regional meetings with potential candidates for the selection of local court judges.

The Secretariat of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine informs about the availability of vacant public service positions of categories “B” and “V”.
