On December 04, 2024, at a meeting of the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of introducing a submission with a recommendation to second judges to another court of the same level and specialization for the administration of justice was considered.

On February 06-07, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, together with the Public Council of International Experts, held special joint meetings with seven candidates participating in the competition to the High Anti-Corruption Court.
In accordance with paragraph 4 of part one of Article 70 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” (hereinafter – the Law), the qualification exam is one of the stages of the selection process for the position of a judge of a local court.
Part three of Article 74 of the Law stipulates that the qualification exam is conducted through anonymous testing and practical assignments. Anonymous testing includes, among other subjects, the history of Ukrainian statehood.
The issue of secondment of judges to Lychakivskyi District Court of Lviv is scheduled for consideration
According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, based on a decision by the High Council of Justice, made on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a judge may, with their consent, be temporarily transferred to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice.
The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has introduced a review of key events, important decisions related to judicial career procedures, judicial position records, conducted meetings, and other relevant matters.

On February 05, 2025, the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of submitting a recommendation for the secondment of judges to another court of the same level and specialization for the administration of justice.
On February 04, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of two judges of local and appeal courts for their suitability for the positions held.
Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:
On January 31 – February 01, 2025, a joint strategic session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the Public Integrity Council was held in Kyiv with the support of the EU Pravo-Justice Project to agree on mechanisms of cooperation in the selection of honest and qualified personnel to join the judiciary.
On February 03, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered in plenary session the issue of suitability of judges of local and appeal courts for their positions.
