Please be informed that on November 05, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine took a decision to invalidate the practical assignment performed on October 14, 2025, by participants in the first group—candidates for the position of local court judge and judges who expressed their intention to be seconded to another local court.
With this decision, the Commission set a new date for the fourth stage of the qualification exam (performance of a practical assignment in the specialization of a local general court) for the relevant candidates for the position of local court judge and judges who have expressed their intention to be seconded to another local court – November 17, 2025.
The schedule for performing the practical assignment in the specialization of the local general court and the list of candidates for the position of local court judge and judges who have expressed their intention to be seconded to another local court, whose work (practical assignments performed on October 14, 2025) has been declared invalid, can be found at this link (in Ukrainian).
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.
The assignment starts at 9:20 a.m.
The address for the practical assignment is 9, General Shapoval St., Kyiv.
If the participant’s surname does not match the one on the list, in particular due to a change of surname, the Commission must be notified immediately by telephone (044) 233-63-85 and a document certifying the relevant change must be brought to the qualification exam.
Participation in the qualification exam (stage) is mandatory.
Failure of a participant to appear for the qualification exam (stage) does not prevent it from being held and is grounds for recognizing the participant as having failed the qualification exam (stage).
Please be reminded, that in order to prepare for the practical assignment, in particular, candidates for the position of judge of a local general court, as well as judges who have expressed their intention to be seconded to another local general court, within the selection announced on December 11, 2024, the Commission has published a list of references in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions to Supreme Court rulings setting out conclusions on the application of legal provisions (in Ukrainian).
