On September 11, 2025, at a meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of two candidates for the position of judge of the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal were determined.
Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:
On September 09, 2025, the VI Judicial Forum “The Judiciary After War: Challenges, Solutions, and Paths to Development” took place in Kyiv.
The event was organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine in partnership with the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark, which provided the relevant financial support.
Please be informed, that from September 09 to 17, 2025, 4,842 participants are undergoing cognitive ability testing as the third stage of the qualification exam for selection for the position of local court judge.
The coded test results for September 11, 2025, have been established for 547 persons:
1) did not reach the minimum passing score – 170 persons;
According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialisation to administer justice by a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

The coded test results for September 10, 2025, have been established for 549 persons:
1) did not reach the minimum passing score – 152 persons;
For the purpose of proper preparation of candidates for the qualification exam within the competition for the position of judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court, including its Appeals Chamber, the Commission provides information on the tentative schedule of the qualification exam.

The coded test results for September 09, 2025 have been established for 542 persons:
1) did not reach the minimum passing score – 145 persons;
2) reached the minimum passing score – 397 persons:
from 33 to 40 points – 246 persons;
from 40 to 50 points – 140 persons;
more than 50 points – 11 persons.
On September 08, 2025, Deputy Chairman of the Commission Oleh Koliush and Commission Member Vitalii Gatseliuk took part in a roundtable discussion on the issue of judges’ disciplinary liability: the responsibility of a judge for a significant violation of substantive and procedural law when delivering a court decision.
