The Commission Recommends Secondment of the Judge to the Kamianka-Buzkyi Raion Court of Lviv Oblast

On September 24, 2025, the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of submitting a recommendation on the secondment of judges to another court of the same level and specialisation for the administration of justice.

Due to the excessive workload of the court, the Commission decided to submit a recommendation to the High Council of Justice to transfer Olha Liashko, a judge of the Primorsky District Court of Odesa, to the Kamianka-Buzkyi Raion Court of Lviv Oblast for a period of one year.

The Ranking of Candidates Has Been Approved and the Winners of the Competition for Vacant Positions of Judges in the Sumy Court of Appeal Have Been Determined

On September 24, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine adopted a decision to approve the ranking of candidates for vacant positions of judges in the Sumy Court of Appeal based on the results of the qualification assessment within the competition announced by the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated September 14, 2023  No. 94/zp-23 (as amended).

Competition for the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal: Three Candidates Confirmed Their Ability to Administer Justice

On September 23, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of three candidates for the positions of judges in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

On September 23, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of three candidates for the positions of judges in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

Regulation On Regular Assessment of Judges Has Been Approved

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine approved the Regulation on Regular Assessment of Judges, developed in accordance with Article 90 of the Law of Ukraine of June 02, 2016, “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”. According to paragraph 1.3 of the Roadmap on the Rule of Law, the Regulation was to be approved by the end of the third quarter of 2025. Regular assessments will take place once every three years and must be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2027.

On September 19, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine took a decision to approve the ranking of candidates for vacant positions of judges at the Zhytomyr Court of Appeal based on the results of a qualification assessment within the framework of a competition announced by the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated
September 14, 2023 No. 94/zp-23 (as amended).

Competition For the High Anti-Corruption Court: Materials From 80 Candidates Have Been Reviewed

On September 18, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panels, considered the issue of admitting another 80 candidates to undergo qualification assessment and participate in the competition for vacant positions of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court, announced by the Commission on June 03, 2025.

Based on the results of these sessions, the Commission decided to admit another 60 persons to undergo qualification assessment and participate in the competition.

One Judge Confirmed Her Suitability for the Position Held, While the Qualification Assessment of Another Judge Was Terminated

On September 17, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of the suitability of local court judges for the positions held.
