On April 10, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of five local court judges for their suitability for the position held.
Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:
On April 10, 2025, the Panel of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered a notification on information that may indicate the unreliability (including incompleteness) of the statements made by the judge in his or her integrity declaration.
On April 09, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in plenary session considered the issue of terminating the qualification evaluation of the judge of the Kirovskyi District Court of Kirovohrad City Oleksii Halahan to confirm his ability to administer justice in the relevant court.
Based on the results of the meeting, the Commission decided to terminate the qualification evaluation of the judge of Kirovskyi District Court of Kirovohrad City Oleksii Halahan.
On April 09, 2025, the First and Second Chambers of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered issues regarding the secondment and early termination of the secondment of judges, along with their simultaneous secondment.
Due to the excessive judicial workload, the Commission decided to submit a recommendation to the High Council of Justice for the secondment of the judge Nataliia Kovalenko from the Lysychanskyi Town Court of Luhansk Oblast to the Derhachivskyi Raion Court of Kharkiv Oblast for a period of one year.
According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice by a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

On April 02, 2025, the First and Second Chambers of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered issues regarding the secondment and early termination of the secondment of judges, along with their simultaneous secondment.
Due to the excessive judicial workload, the Commission decided to submit a recommendation to the High Council of Justice for the secondment of the judge Leonid Plokhotnichenko from the Leninskyi District Court of Kirovohrad City to the Leninskyi District Court of Mykolaiv City for a period of one year.
According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice by a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
