On May 09, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panels, reviewed the materials of 119 judges who intend to be transferred to another local court upon their applications for admission to the qualification exam.
Based on the results of the session, the Commission decided to admit 118 judges to the completion of qualification exam:
On May 12, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine established the results of a special vetting of 49 candidates for the positions of judges in administrative courts of appeal and 82 candidates for the positions of judges in commercial courts of appeal within the competition announced by the Commission on September 14, 2023.
In accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” and the Regulation on the Procedure of Qualification Exam and the Methodology for Evaluation of Candidates, the Commission has published the list of test question basics on the history of Ukrainian statehood, including references to the sources used for developing the test questions.
On May 12, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine scheduled the qualification exam for candidates for the position of a local court judge, as well as for judges, who expressed their intention to be transferred to another local court, and established the following sequence of examination stages:
On May 09, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panels, considered the issue of admission to the selection (for the qualification exam) of 2,761 persons, including: 2,563 - candidates for the position of judge, 198 - judges.
On May 08, 2025, at the session of the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the dossiers were examined, interviews were conducted, and the results of the qualification evaluation of four candidates for the positions of judges of administrative courts of appeal were determined.
Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission made the following decisions:
On May 08, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine sitting as a Panel, reviewed the materials of 885 persons regarding their admission to the selection process for the position of a local court judge (passing the qualification exam).
On May 07, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine continued to review materials on the admission of persons to participate in the selection for the position of a local court judge (passing the qualification exam). Today, the Panel has considered the admission of 1,826 persons.
On May 07, 2025, the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of early termination of secondment of judges with their simultaneous secondment.
The Commission decided to submit to the High Council of Justice a submission with a recommendation for the early termination of secondment and simultaneous secondment for a one-year term to the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa City in respect of:
