Competition to the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal: Each Candidate Will Be Interviewed by the Plenary Session of the Commission

On October 02, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in Panels, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of three candidates for the positions of judges in the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

Competition To the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal: One Candidate Confirmed the Ability to Administer Justice

On October 07, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of four candidates for the positions of judges in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:

Competition to Chernihiv Court of Appeal: Candidate Confirmed Ability to Administer Justice

On October 07, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panels, an interview was conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of a candidate for the position of judge at the Chernihiv Court of Appeal were determined.

As a result of the qualification assessment, Yurii Kutovyi scored 698.89 points. The Panel decided to recognise the candidate as having confirmed his ability to administer justice in a general appellate court.

Competition to the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal: Each Candidate Will Be Interviewed by the Plenary Session of the Commission

On October 06, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panels, an interview was conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of a candidate for the position of judge at the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal were determined.

As a result of the qualification assessment, Oleksandr Hnatiuk scored 680.7 points. The Panel decided to submit for consideration by the Commission in plenary session the issue of confirming his ability to administer justice in a general appellate court.

Competition to the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal: Candidate Failed to Confirm Ability to Administer Justice

On October 03, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panels, an interview was conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of Larysa Dubyna, a candidate for the position of judge at the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal, were determined.

The Commission Recommended Appointment of the Winner of the Competition to the Position of Judge of the Commercial Court of Zakarpattia Oblast

On October 03, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panel, interviewed three winners of the competition for vacant positions of local court judges, announced on September 14, 2023.

Based on the results of the interviews, the Commission decided to recommend the appointment of Uliana Pliatsko to the position of judge of the Commercial Court of Zakarpattia Oblast.

The interview with Oksana Ovsiienko was postponed.

A break was announced in the interview with Oleksandr Soproniuk.

Procedure For Restricting General Access to Files and Declarations For the Duration of Martial Law

Pursuant to the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” of June 2, 2016, No. 1402-VIII (hereinafter – Law No. 1402-VIII), it is established that the judicial dossier (candidate judge’s dossier), as well as declarations of family ties and integrity, shall be publicly accessible on the official website of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 61, Part 4 of Article 62, and Part 7 of Article 85 of Law No. 1402-VIII).
