The Issue of Judges’ Secondment to the Borodianskyi Raion Court of Kyiv Oblast Has Been Scheduled for Consideration

According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialisation to administer justice by a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

Competition To the General Courts of Appeal: One Candidate Confirmed the Ability to Administer Justice in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal

On October 08, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of a candidate for the position of judge to administer justice in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, Dmytro Bredun was recognised as having confirmed his ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal.

Competition for the General Courts of Appeal: Interviews With All Candidates for the Sumy Court of Appeal Have Been Completed

On September 22, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of three candidates for the position of judge to administer justice in the Sumy Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the session, the Commission took the following decisions:

The Commission Recommended To Appoint a Judge to the Position

On September 22, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the recommendation of Anastasiia Remezok for appointment to the position of judge of the Oleksandriiskyi City-Raion Court of Kirovohrad Oblast.

The suitability for the position held of a judge appointed for a term of five years prior to the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (Regarding Justice)” must be assessed in accordance with the procedure established by law.

Competition for the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal: Two Candidates Are Awaiting an Interview with the Commission in Plenary Session

On September 18, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in Panels, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of four candidates for the position of judge at the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission took the following decisions:
