Competition for the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal: Two Candidates Confirmed Their Ability to Administer Justice

On November 11, 2025, at the session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of three candidates for the positions of judges in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal were determined.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission made the following decisions:

On November 07, 2025, Vitalii Gatseliuk, member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, spoke at the First Progressive Summit “Towards EU Membership and Fair Recovery,” which brought together key representatives of state institutions, civil society, and international partners to discuss strategic directions for Ukraine’s European integration.

Regarding the Fourth Stage of the Qualification Exam (Performance of a Practical Assignment in the Specialization of the High Anti-Corruption Court, in Particular its Appeals Chamber) Within the Framework of the Competition Announced by the Commission’s decision № 112/zp-25 of June 03, 2025

The fourth stage of the qualification exam—the practical assignment in the specialization of the High Anti-Corruption Court, in particular its Appeals Chamber—will be held on November 12 and 14, 2025, at the premises of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine at 9, General Shapoval St., Kyiv.

Competition for General Courts of Appeal: Two Candidates Confirmed Their Ability to Administer Justice in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal and One in the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal

On November 10, 2025, at the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of confirming the ability of four candidates for the position of judge to administer justice in the general court of appeal was considered.

The Issue of Judges’ Secondment to the Lozivskyi City-Raion Court of Kharkiv Oblast Has Been Scheduled for Consideration

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges,” by decision of the High Council of Justice, adopted on the basis of a submission by the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice.

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine Recommended Appointment of the Winner of the Competition to the Position of Judge of the Osnovianskyi District Court of Kharkiv City

On November 04, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panel, interviewed two winners of the competition for vacant positions of local court judges, announced on September 14, 2023.

Based on the results of the interview, the Commission decided to recommend the appointment of Yelyzaveta Lukianenko to the position of judge of the Osnovianskyi District Court of Kharkiv City.
